Here at the Retreat we know that one size doesn't fit all. This is why we offer different wax solutions for different areas of the body in order to maximise hair removal and minimise discomfort.

 

Here at the Retreat use two different strip waxes

True Blue S & Gold Strip Wax 

Strip waxing involves spreading a thin layer of wax over the skin and pressing a cloth or paper strip on top. The material is them swiftly removed in the direction of the hair  growth. This method takes away the hair along with the wax.

cream wax which will leave you with less irritation and redness, making it ideal for dry or sensitive skin. This luxurious blue shimmering wax has a low heating temperature and leaves little residue on the skin due to its non sticky gel-like formula.

Hot wax (available for intimate areas)

Outback Gold utilises advanced polymer technology which literally 'shrink wraps' hair as it dries, for effective removal of even the shortest and most stubborn of hairs. Now clients who have shaved can be waxed by the following weekend, ready for that big night out or trip away.

 

Outback Gold remains supple when cool and removes cleanly from the skin, with no stickiness or unpleasant residue, plus its low melting point means improved client comfort on the most sensitive of body parts.

Opal Reelable Wax 

is the latest thing in strip-free waxing – a fast drying hypoallergenic wax containing a blend of three indigenous Australian plums: Kakadu Plum, Illawarra Plum and Burdekin Plum for ultra-sensitive skins.

 

Its low melting point, pliability, ease of application and exceptional client comfort takes waxing to the next level with its incredible adhesive properties and virtually no skin pull.

 

Outback Opal removes the shortest and most stubborn of hairs comfortably.

 

Exceptional fluidity means Opal Wax applies smoothly and thinly, with none of the ‘strings’ or tackiness common with natural resin waxes. It even changes colour from dark to light mauve when ready to lift.

 

Furthermore Outback Opal is also vegan friendly as it contains no beeswax or other animal by-product
