When you’re yearning for a moment of escapism, or longing for total relaxation, look no further than the Great Bentley Retreat. Our aim is to provide clients with a menu of treatments that benefit mind, body and soul in a relaxed, homely environment.
The Retreat started life in the spare room of a bungalow in 2010. Since then we have gone from strength to strength and recently extended the salon allowing for easy disabled access at our Plough Road site.
Our friendly and professional experienced staff are here to give you a great service, so you know that when you have a treatment with us you'll be in good hands.
We have two main treatment rooms as well as a large reception/manicure room. Our treatment rooms are Air conditioned with heated couches which are fully electric for our less mobile clients.

Meet the Team
Emma
Emma has over fifteen years of experience in the beauty industry and 20 years in retail management.
Emma's main focus is the running of The Great Bentley Retreat as well as training new staff. Emma holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training and has worked as an educator with Louella Belle; distributor and educators for Artistic Gel polish, IBX and Foot Logix. as well as training waxing techniques with Outback Organics wax range.
Emma has a passion for skin and foot care and a keen interest in using natural ingredients and keeping the salon environmentally friendly. She is able to perform all beauty treatments however has had to retire from massage.
Emma loves being out doors walking, visiting waterfalls and animal sanctuary's such as The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent and tending her garden.
Her love of animals and all things eco friendly recently took her to Costa Rica.
Emma is a supporter of Endometriosis Uk as a sufferer herself and has undergone IVF in the past. She has had treatment for conditions affecting various organs as well as suffering three hernias and a recent full hysterectomy. She is happy to offer support to anyone who is going through diagnosis or associated conditions.
Michelle
Michelle is our Salon Supervisor and has worked at The Great Bentley Retreat for over 10 years.
Michelle is able to preform most treatments and has a flair for nail art. Her excellent reviews reflect her passion and expertise.
Michelle has traveled to over 36 countries so be sure to ask her about her travels and get her advice when you see her!
In Michelles spare time she loves to tend her garden and has been successful with growing vegetables
Deni
Deni has over 10 year experience working in both salon and spa environments.
Deni is massage specialist here at The Retreat. Deni is multi skilled and is able to perform all treatments except male intimate waxing.
Deni is a keen gamer and loves music. She loves theatrical make up and make up in general and has some amazing pictures of her theatre style work.
